Pyongyang, August 31 (KCNA) -- The respected Comrade Kim Jong Un sent a birthday spread to Kim Pyong Hwan, a woman centenarian living in People's Neighborhood Unit No. 129 in Osan-dong, Jongju City, North Phyongan Province of the DPRK.

She extended her gratitude to Kim Jong Un after receiving the birthday spread.

She was born into a poor peasant family and had suffered the lot of slavery before the liberation of Korea. She could lead a genuine life as the master of the country and the owner of land after President Kim Il Sung liberated Korea

She, who experienced the value of the country through her life, took the lead in farming, keeping in mind the duty as an agricultural worker for decades and did a good thing to improve the economic life of the country even after becoming a pensioner.

Officials of the Jongju City Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea visited her family and congratulated her. -0-
