Pyongyang, March 13 (KCNA) -- The present acute situation, in which the U.S. and the puppet ROK military gangsters are staging anti-DPRK war exercises more frantically than ever before, makes all the young people in the DPRK, who have grown up under the care of the Workers' Party of Korea, aware of the value of the country, burn their hearts with hatred for the enemies and the spirit of annihilating them.

More than 600 graduate students of senior middle schools in North Phyongan Province have turned out on the road for national defence.

Those graduate students in Hadan-ri of Sinuiju City volunteered for military service at forefront border posts before anyone else. Tens of graduate students at Hadan Senior Middle School No. 1, who had experienced the value of the country during their stay in Pyongyang, vowed to defend their beloved native places with arms.

Students of Kim Kwang Chol Senior Middle School in Kujang County hoped to stand at the forefront posts, vowing to glorify every moment of military service with loyalty and feats and register their names at their alma mater which is boastful with the name of the hero.

Many graduate students in Changsong, Unjon, Phihyon and other counties volunteered to join the People's Army with a resolve to wipe out the enemies with arms of revolution.

At congratulatory and petition meetings held in relevant areas, the speakers handed over the flags of the DPRK to those students who vowed to leave their first step of recompense and practice at the forefront border posts after finishing their school days.

Graduate students expressed their determination to display the honor of being the socialist patriotic youth at every post for national defence, cherishing the trust and expectation of their folks at native places and parents and siblings. -0-
