Pyongyang, March 13 (KCNA) -- More than 40 young people in Jagang Province of the DPRK have volunteered to work at major theatres for implementing the decisions of the Workers' Party of Korea.

A youth league official in Junggang County decided to work at the county raw material base station together with his family, out of the mind to contribute to the implementation of the Party's regional development policy.

Youths in Huichon City vowed to work at the construction brigade, raw material base and goat farm.

Discharged soldiers and other youths in Manpho City and Kophung County joined the ranks of volunteers with a strong desire to become young heroes at production and construction sites.

Those in the counties of Hwaphyong, Janggang, Usi and Jasong, too, volunteered to work at difficult and labour-consuming posts.

Present at a congratulatory meeting held at the Jagang Provincial Art Theatre on Wednesday were Jon Yong Jae, secretary of the Jagang Provincial Committee of the WPK, youth league officials, youth and students.

Certificates were awarded to the volunteers and then a congratulatory address and speeches were made.

After the meeting, a congratulatory performance was given.

Officials, youth and students gave a pep talk to the volunteers leaving for their new revolutionary posts, presenting bouquets to them. -0-
