Pyongyang, August 1 (KCNA) -- The respected Comrade Kim Jong Un sent a birthday spread to Choe Kyong Hwa, a woman living in the Neighborhood Unit No. 5, Ryongsong-dong No. 1, Ryongsong District, Pyongyang, on her 100th birthday.

The centenarian extended thanks to Kim Jong Un after receiving the birthday spread amid the congratulations of officials of the Ryongsong District Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea and villagers,

She served as bondage at a landlord's house and was subjected to all maltreatments before Korea's liberation. After President Kim Il Sung liberated Korea from the Japanese colonial rule, she could lead a genuine life of human being.

During the Fatherland Liberation War, she fought bravely to defend the grateful system. Working as a neighborhood unit leader for decades after the war, she devoted herself to turning the neighborhood unit into a large and harmonious family and received a citation of the President.

After becoming a pensioner, she has done good things for the country and the villagers are respecting the centenarian who brought up her five children well and put forward them at important posts. -0-
