Pyongyang, August 2 (KCNA) -- A spectacular view can be seen in the picturesque River Taedong amid the growing demand of the people for cultural and emotional life.

It is the appearance of people tasting steak, one of the three famous dishes of the DPRK, on boats floating on the river.

Round-shaped excursion boats furnished with sunshades and simple steak tables for six persons or 12 persons shuttle between Okryu and Taedonggang bridges.

People can personally control the battery-powered boats.

Ha Po Ram, head of the excursion ship service station of the Marine Transport Management Bureau under the Ministry of Land and Maritime Transport, said with a smile that the round-shaped excursion boats are very popular among the citizens nowadays when high temperature lingers on.

People say that it is good to see the scenery of the Taedong River on a boat, but the taste of steak on the waves of the river gives a unique emotion. -0-
