Pyongyang, February 17 (KCNA) -- The respected Comrade Kim Jong Un sent a birthday spread to Yun Kum Son, a woman resident in Neighborhood Unit No. 6, Puam-ri, Orang County of North Hamgyong Province, on her 100th birthday.

Receiving the birthday spread amid congratulations of officials of the Orang County Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea and villagers, the woman centenarian extended thanks to Kim Jong Un, expressing her deep emotion at the love of the motherly Party.

Born into a poor peasant family before liberation of Korea, she had to experience the sorrow of a stateless nation. Then, she could lead a proud and worthwhile life in the genuine people's country established by President Kim Il Sung.

During the Fatherland Liberation War and the period of the socialist construction, she had devoted her sincere sweat and efforts to farming. Even after becoming a pensioner, she has voluntarily done good things helpful to the country. -0-
