Pyongyang, July 5 (KCNA) -- Officials and members of the Socialist Women's Union of Korea met at the Hall of Women on July 4 to hear the stories about noble virtues of President Kim Il Sung on the occasion of the 31st anniversary of his demise.

At the meeting, the performers highly praised the immortal exploits performed by the President, the peerlessly great sage and benevolent father of the people, for the country and revolution, times and history.

Kim Son Sil, former head of the Management Office of the Tower of the Juche Idea and the Arch of Triumph who was the fourth daughter of Kim Tuk Ran, the first woman deputy of the DPRK, said that the President saved the Korean women, who had been subjected to social restraint and inequality for thousands of years, from their miserable destiny and put them forward as a powerful force of the revolution.

Pak Sun Hui, a member of the women's union from Hwawon-dong No. 2, Hwasong District, impressively told about the personality of the President as the peerlessly great man who led the Fatherland Liberation War to brilliant victory with his outstanding commanding art and rare wisdom.

The story of Jong Su Rim, head of the Youth Workteam of the Rihyon Vegetable Farm in Sadong District, who is a granddaughter of Ri Sin Ja, known all over the country as a red agitator, deeply moved the audience.
