New Houses Built in Yonsan County of DPRK

Pyongyang, September 19 (KCNA) -- Agricultural workers at the Okdok Farm in Yonsan County, North Hwanghae Province of the DPRK, have moved into new houses.

Hundreds of modern houses, built at the sunny foot of mountain, represent the bright prospect and rosy future of rural development in the new era.

A ceremony for moving into those houses took place on the spot amid the joy and excitement of agricultural workers and other inhabitants at the farm who were to receive new excellent houses free of charge under the people-oriented policies of the Workers' Party of Korea and the state.

Present there were Mun Chang Il, secretary of the provincial committee of the WPK, and officials of the Party and power organs and agricultural workers in the county.

Ho Yun Guk, vice-chairman of the provincial people's committee, made a congratulatory address at the ceremony. Then licenses for use of the new houses were conveyed and speeches of resolution made.

Amid the display of cheerful peasant music and dance, the new owners moved into their houses and officials shared joy with them. -0-
