Pyongyang, December 30 (KCNA) -- New houses were built at the Tangu Branch Farm of the Ryongjon Fruit Farm in Pukchong County, South Hamgyong Province of the DPRK.
The cozy and peculiar houses, built as befitting an ideal socialist village, are precious fruition of the warm loving care of the Workers' Party of Korea to provide the agricultural workers with a more affluent and civilized living environment.
A ceremony for moving into new houses took place on the spot on December 29. Present there were Kim Yong Hak, secretary of the South Hamgyong Provincial Committee of the WPK, officials concerned, builders and agricultural workers who are to move into new houses.
Ri Kwang Hyok, vice-chairman of the provincial people's committee, made a congratulatory address. Licenses for the use of new houses were handed over and speeches made there.
The agricultural workers moving into new houses expressed boundless reverence and thanks to the WPK. The village was in a festive mood along with the people cheerfully dancing to the tune of peasants' music and the national flags flying above every house. -0-
