Pyongyang, March 15 (KCNA) -- The respected Comrade Kim Jong Un sent a birthday spread to Kim Su Il living in Neighbourhood Unit No. 9 in Ryongjam-ri, Tanchon City of South Hamgyong Province, on her 100th birthday.

After receiving the birthday spread, the centenarian expressed her gratitude to Kim Jong Un for showing loving care for an ordinary old woman living in a rural village far from Pyongyang.

Born as a daughter of fire-field peasant in the mountainous area, she always felt the sorrow of a stateless nation before national liberation. She could lead a genuine life only after President Kim Il Sung liberated the country.

Her house was crowded with officials of the Tanchon City Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea and neighbors who came to share joy with the family. -0-
