Pyongyang, August 27 (KCNA) -- According to Minju Joson, the Ministry of Grain Administration in the DPRK is taking steps for wheat processing and storage.

The ministry manufactured new equipment in contact with relevant units and sent them to the Hamhung and Wonsan wheat processing factories to increase their production capacities more than two times.

It has pushed ahead with the work to manufacture and supply efficient wheat processing equipment to the city and county grain management stations across the country on the basis of experience gained in operating the newly-established wheat processing lines at the grain management stations in Anju City of South Phyongan Province, Pakchon County of North Phyongan Province and Pyoksong County of South Hwanghae Province.

Wheat processing factories and city and county grain management stations in different parts of the country ensure the optimum temperature of wheat storehouses and establish a proper ventilation control system to prevent damage in the rainy season.

The ministry has also made the city and county grain management stations to invent, manufacture and use grain dryers suited to the actual conditions by following the experience of the Mundok County Grain Management Station which is making successes in preventing the grain loss by making new mobile grain dryers. -0-
