School Opening Ceremony in DPRK

Pyongyang, April 2 (KCNA) -- A school opening ceremony took place at the Korean Rehabilitation Centre for Children with Disability on April 1.

Present there were Yun Chang Il, chairman of the Central Committee of the Korean Federation for the Protection of the Disabled, and children and their parents, nurses, teachers and doctors of the centre.

At the ceremony, Song Hyang Chun, director of the centre, made an address to be followed by speeches.

Speakers noted that many successes have been made in the rehabilitation, upbringing and education of children with disabilities under the benevolence of the motherly Party taking warm care of all the children across the country and the grateful socialist policy.

They stressed that the children with disabilities will grow up brightly and courageously, bringing their hope and talents into full bloom in the future, too, under the benefits of the best socialist system.
