Pyongyang, July 8 (KCNA) -- Following are major news items and articles in leading newspapers of the DPRK on Monday:

- Editorials and articles are dedicated to the 30th anniversary of demise of President Kim Il Sung.

- Foreign political parties and personages and families of Chinese and overseas compatriots related to the anti-Japanese revolutionary struggle sent floral baskets to the statues of President Kim Il Sung and Chairman Kim Jong Il on Mansu Hill.

- The international community praised the sacred career and precious exploits of the President.

- Kim Yo Jong, vice department director of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, in a press statement said that the enemies' undisguised saber-rattling at the door of the DPRK is a clear provocative act of escalating the situation that can never be justified.
