Pyongyang, May 13 (KCNA) -- Following are major news items and articles in leading newspapers of the DPRK on Tuesday:

- Meetings were held at various units in Kangwon Province to mark the 60th anniversary of the field guidance of President Kim Il Sung and Chairman Kim Jong Il.

- The Workers' Party of Korea Publishing House brought out Vol. 64 of "Complete Collection of Kim Jong Il's Works".

- The Standing Committee of the Supreme People's Assembly of the DPRK issued decrees on conferring the title of model regional industry city to Samjiyon City of Ryanggang Province, the title of model county in regional budget system to Kimhwa County of Kangwon Province and the title of model county in afforestation to Mundok County of South Phyongan Province and Thaechon County of North Phyongan Province.

- Successes have been made in different parts of the country.

- A DPRK player won gold medals in the 2025 Asian Weightlifting Championships.

- A schoolchildren's art troupe of the Mangyongdae Schoolchildren's Palace returned home after visiting the Primorsky Krai of Russia.
