Pyongyang, May 13 (KCNA) -- Farms in the DPRK have mainly finished the tilling of paddy fields.

South Hwanghae Province mobilized all its forces and means to finish the tilling of paddy fields in time.

South Phyongan Province made rational use of ploughs suited to soil conditions and increased the proportion of the farm work done by machines, thus completing the tilling of paddy fields in time.

Officials and agricultural workers in North Hwanghae Province, too, mobilized machines to ensure the quality and speed of their work.

North Phyongan and South Hamgyong provinces and other parts of the country pushed ahead with the immediate farming process as scheduled while conducting mobile repair service team activities and introducing efficient methods. -0-
