Pyongyang, July 9 (KCNA) -- Nampho Municipality in the DPRK is pushing ahead with the construction of anti-tidal dykes.
It filled the low ground in the dangerous places of the Unha bank with over 3 000 cubic meters of earth and repaired and built retaining walls extending several kilometers. It is concentrating forces and means on repairing anti-tidal dykes in the Kumsong-ri area of Onchon County.
As the section for managing anti-tidal dykes has increased, the municipality made sure that the Onchon anti-tidal dyke station takes charge of the Kumsong bank while taking measures to remove dangerous places.
It has transported rubble stones of more than 6 000 cubic meters for over 10 days by mobilizing forces in districts, counties and municipal-level organs and enterprises and heavy machines. It is pushing ahead with the project for removing dangerous places at the final stage. -0-
