Pyongyang, October 28 (KCNA) -- The 17th Pyongyang Autumn International Trade Fair opened in the DPRK.

Presented to the fair were more than 1 400 kinds of tens of thousands of products, including electronic goods, machines, building-materials, seafood, sanitary and light industry goods and food and consumer goods. Those products were produced by over 210 enterprises and companies of the DPRK, Russia, China, Mongolia, Cambodia, Thailand and India including the Songdowon General Foodstuff Factory, the Korean Kaesong Koryo Insam Trading Company, the Korean Sangwon Trading Company and the Korean Songchongang Trading Company.

There will be a briefing for economic exchange and cooperation during the fair.

An opening ceremony took place at the Central Youth Hall on Oct. 27.

Present there were Yun Jong Ho, minister of External Economic Relations of the DPRK, officials concerned and officials of the exhibited units, delegations of different countries and members of the diplomatic corps here.

Ham Ju Sop, director of the Korean International Exhibition Corporation, made an opening address.

At the end of the ceremony the participants looked round the venue of the fair. -0-
