Pyongyang, November 11 (KCNA) -- South Hwanghae Province of the DPRK is striving to train talented persons for the agricultural development in the region.

The province directs primary efforts to training competent officials of rural primary organizations by further improving the educational conditions and environment of the agricultural managers training school under the provincial rural economy committee built last year and radically improving the quality of education.

The school has produced multimedia programs dealing with advanced knowledge of agricultural science and technology to improve the quality of teaching and encouraged all students to realize the advantages of scientific farming and consolidate their knowledge through practical activities.

City and county rural economy committees have striven to train talents substantially conducive to scientific farming by their own efforts and provide them with better educational conditions.

They admitted talented persons into vocational technology colleges for agriculture while expanding their insights by applying to the teaching the scientific farming methods suited to regional features and the rich experience of high-yielding farms, workteams and sub-workteams. -0-
