Pyongyang, July 17 (KCNA) -- According to Rodong Sinmun, teachers and researchers of Nampho University of Agriculture in the DPRK have newly studied and completed a comprehensive method of using brine effective in increasing the production of sericulture.

They have studied and developed technical products for increasing the yielding ability of mulberry leaves and cocoons by using brine and established the scientific methods for applying brine, thus providing another technological guarantee for the development of sericulture.

The above-said comprehensive method has been introduced to several sericulture production units across the country and proved effective in increasing the yielding ability of mulberry leaves and cocoons.

The developers won a national sci-tech achievements introduction certificate.  -0-
