Pyongyang, October 19 (KCNA) -- The workers in the textile industry of the DPRK are improving the quality of products with the revolutionary enthusiasm to greet the congress of the glorious Workers' Party of Korea with great labor achievements.

In connection with a relevant unit, the Pyongyang Kim Jong Suk Textile Mill procured tens of thousands of spare parts of several kinds to overhaul gripper weaving machines of the weaving shop No. 1 of the general weaving shop and made achievements in improving the performance of machines.

The Sinuiju Textile Mill renovated the speed reducer of the willowing machine of the spinning preparation shop and developed a control program by itself to improve the quality of products and made spare parts needed for recovering the original performance of the drawing machine by itself.

The Hamhung Woolen Mill has improved the productivity and quality of products while securing a face plate and alternating-current contactor according to a well thought-out plan and taking timely measures to improve the capacity of lathes of the mechanic shop and warping machines of the weaving preparation workshop.

The Kusong Textile Mill has put the flexible rapier weaving machine into good shape by actively tapping internal reserves and thus increased the proportion of outer coating fabric found acceptable.

The workers of the Pyongyang Rayon Factory fully ensure the surface roughness of rubber roller needed for device for crimping yarn by manufacturing grinding equipment by themselves and thus raised the quality of rayon higher than before. -0-
