Pyongyang, May 12 (KCNA) -- The Workers' Party of Korea Publishing House brought out Vol. 64 of "Complete Collection of Kim Jong Il's Works", a library of immortal Kimilsungism-Kimjongilism which comprehensively carries the classic works of Chairman Kim Jong Il in a chronological order.

Contained in the book are 47 famous works made public by Kim Jong Il in the period from January to August 2002.

In his work "On Some Tasks Arising in Intensifying Party Work and Improving the People's Living Standards as Required by the Prevailing Situation", the Chairman clarified that the revolutionary ranks should be firmly consolidated by intensifying the internal work of the Party as the enemy's moves to provoke a new war are getting ever more undisguised and the danger of war is increased, and set forth tasks for fully producing and supplying the people with various foodstuffs and essential consumer goods.

In his work "On Having a Correct Understanding of Nationalism", he clarified that nationalism is an idea that loves one's nation and defends its interests, and that true nationalism is patriotism.

There are also works dealing with the principled issues arising in making the Korean People's Army invariably defend the tradition of devotedly defending the leader, glorify it forever and prepare all the service personnel as a-match-for-a-hundred fighters by conducting brisk combat drills.

The book contains works dealing with policy tasks arising in satisfactorily solving the food problem for the people by carrying out the policies of the Party for bringing about a radical turn in potato farming and double cropping, and developing stockbreeding and fish farming.

The book also contains famous works giving perfect answers to the theoretical and practical issues arising in the revolution and construction, including the issue of turning the country into a beautiful land in the era of the Workers' Party through effective forest and water conservation, the issue of giving a good explanation of the position and role of the Korean women and the issue of conducting the work of the General Association of Korean Residents in Japan in a creative and active way. -0-
