Pyongyang, May 12 (KCNA) -- Young people in South Hamgyong Province of the DPRK volunteered to work at major theatres of socialist construction.

Young people of Sinpho and Ragwon counties volunteered to work at the Sinpho City Offshore Farm and the Ragwon County Offshore Farm, which is being built as another wealth of the country.

Dozens of young people in Tanchon City volunteered to work at construction sites to build schools in their areas as model schools.

Young people in Hoesang District of Hamhung City, Yonggwang and Kowon counties pledged to devote their patriotic efforts to the worthwhile worksites of construction brigade and raw materials bases.

Those in Toksong, Riwon and Jongphyong counties volunteered to work at posts of managing ridge ways and goat farms.

A meeting to congratulate the volunteers took place on May 11.

Certificates were awarded to volunteers and congratulatory address and speeches were made at the meeting.

Officials, youths and students saw off the volunteers leaving for new revolutionary posts. -0-
