Floral Tribute Paid to Statues of Great Leaders

Pyongyang, July 28 (KCNA) -- Officials, working people, service personnel and schoolchildren of the DPRK visited the statues of President Kim Il Sung and Chairman Kim Jong Il across the country to pay high tribute to them on Saturday, the V-Day.

Laid before the statues of Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il on Mansu Hill were floral baskets in the names of the Party, power and armed forces organs, social organizations, ministries and national agencies, units of the Korean People's Army and the Public Security Forces, institutions, enterprises and factories at all levels and universities in Pyongyang.

The visitors paid tribute to the statues, recollecting the noble revolutionary careers and immortal exploits of the peerlessly great men.

Floral baskets in the names of KPA and PSF units, institutions and enterprises were placed at the statues of the peerlessly great men in various parts of the capital city, including Kim Il Sung University and the Ministry of National Defence.

Working people, servicepersons, and schoolchildren across the country visited the statues of the great leaders in their residential areas to pay high tribute to them. -0-
