Pyongyang, February 7 (KCNA) -- The 2026 winter aesthetic symposium in the field of land and environment protection took place at the Sci-Tech Complex here on Friday.

Attending it were officials, scientists and teachers from land and environment protection and relevant fields.

A video on the theme of "New era of regional development and master plan for land development" was shown to be followed by speeches.

Speakers noted that the new era of regional development was ushered in along with the great golden age of capital city construction and the towns and rural areas have undergone great change to meet the needs of a highly civilized socialist nation.

They referred to the importance of working out a master plan for land development in scientifically guaranteeing the implementation of the Workers' Party of Korea's policy on regional development and the ways for conducting development and construction under the master plan. -0-
