Drive for Increased Steel Production Brisk in DPRK

Pyongyang, February 3 (KCNA) -- The Chollima Steel Complex in the DPRK boosts production.

The smelters of its steel shop have introduced several valuable technical innovation proposals, thus shortening the melting time and increasing the output of molten iron per charge.

Workers of the continuous casting field and the rolling shop are fulfilling their production plans by tapping internal reserves and potentials.

The fire-resisting material shop, the main raw material shop and the oxygen shop are supplying raw and other materials and quality oxygen to contribute to the increased steel production.

Technicians and skilled workers of the complex and members of the April 15 Technical Innovation Shock Brigade are pushing ahead with the development and introduction of new technologies for revitalizing the production. -0-
