Pyongyang, November 2 (KCNA) -- Remarkable achievements have been made in developing the national economy and improving the people's living standards amid the daily-growing creativity of scientists and technicians in the DPRK.

In October alone, the work for sci-tech exchange was conducted under the sponsorship of several associations and societies under the Central Committee of the General Federation of Science and Technology of Korea, the Ministry of Education and others more than ten times and at least 1 300 valuable proposals made across the country. -0-
