Pyongyang, December 10 (KCNA) -- A process of producing light-reflecting glass beads has been newly established at the Taean Friendship Glass Factory, according to Rodong Sinmun.

The beads have good light-reflecting properties, and yet, their production cost is much lower than those of other countries.

Technicians and researchers of the Taean Friendship Glass Factory and the Heat Engineering Institute under the State Academy of Sciences confirmed the indices to the normal operation of the process through several test runs and made the first trial products.

The factory is making preparations for normal operation of the process. -0-
