Pyongyang, February 21 (KCNA) -- According to Rodong Sinmun, the public health sector of the DPRK has recently developed an information system for managing the circulation of Koryo medicines and introduced it into all the units producing Koryo medicines.

The Ministry of Public Health pushed ahead with this work to grasp the amount of production of medicinal herbs across the country and the demand for them and control the purchasing and circulating of medicinal herbs in a unified way.

In the course of the work to supply the necessary medicinal herbs to the Koryo medicine pharmaceutical factories according to their demands through herb management stations, a program was developed to exchange information on circulation between management stations and factories.

As a result, a guarantee for putting the medicinal herb and Koryo medicine production on a higher scientific basis was provided. -0-
