Pyongyang, June 22 (KCNA) -- The Workers' Party of Korea is an invincible revolutionary Party which serves the people and forms a harmonious whole with them, says Rodong Sinmun in an article on Sunday.

There are many parties in the world at present but no party has consistently maintained its revolutionary nature and popular character as a genuine party of the people for 80 years like the WPK, the article notes, and goes on:

The great Party has been steadily advancing straight ahead without a single hesitation or an inch of deviation in the journey of believing in the people as in Heaven and devoting itself to them since it reflects the desire of the people in its red flag. Herein lies the true picture of the WPK based on the people-first principle as its basic principle of struggle.

The past 10-odd years in which the arduous history of our revolution has been compressed shine as immortal years in which the greatness of our Party regarding the people-first principle as the basic principle of struggle has been clearly demonstrated to the whole world.

The people-first principle embodies our Party's outlook on the people and philosophy of the people which regard them as the most precious and powerful beings in the world and reflects its transparent spirit of service to boundlessly love the people and thoroughly realize their demands and interests.

As the Party's politics start with the people-first principle and are thoroughly consistent with it, they shine all over the world as the great politics that win everything and bring about victory.

The DPRK's advance towards comprehensive rejuvenation will be further accelerated as there are the great Workers' Party of Korea dynamically leading the sacred revolutionary cause of Juche to the steady victory and glory under the uplifted banner of the people-first principle and loyal and patriotic people who believe in and follow the Party as the beacon of their destiny and genuine mother and support the Party's ideology and cause with single-minded efforts. -0-
