Pyongyang, November 6 (KCNA) -- South Hwanghae Province in the DPRK is directing efforts to strengthening the foundation for building materials production.

The Hwangnam Steel Works has made progress in the work to combine the oxygen converter with the medium-frequency induction furnace rationally and build a new continuous rolling process.

The Sinwon Cement Factory has introduced a reasonable plan to ensure the temperature of the kiln as required by the technical requirements with researchers of relevant units, thus increasing its production capacity than before.

The Haeju Chemical Factory has built a new process of supper fine grinding to improve the quality of paints, and the Suyangsan Finishing Building Materials Factory is concentrating on the modernization of equipment to process wood and plastic on a high level.

The Haeju Brick Factory is stepping up the production of bricks by ultra anthracite and technical preparations for establishing other building materials production process.

The province is also building new production bases for solving various building materials by itself.

The construction of the Haeju Tilery has been pushed forward and the assembly of equipment was completed.
