Pyongyang, June 15 (KCNA) -- A meeting took place on the spot on Sunday to mark the 10th anniversary of the respected Comrade General Secretary Kim Jong Un's field guidance at the Pyongyang Cornstarch Factory.

Present there were officials concerned, and officials and employees of the factory. A commemorative report was made at the meeting.

The reporter recalled that the respected Comrade General Secretary visited the modernly-remodeled factory on June 15, 2016 and placed the deepest trust in it, appreciating it as a factory holding high the banner of putting the production processes on a Juche basis, a factory worthy of being a model in the grand creation struggle based on self-reliance and self-development, and a factory like a textbook teaching how to update itself.

He noted that the officials and employees of the factory have made signal achievements in the production of foodstuffs and the work for establishing a cultured practice in production and life with the pride and honor of working at the glorious workplace associated with the undying leadership exploits of the peerlessly great men.

He called upon all the officials and employees to make a substantial contribution to the development of the country's foodstuff industry and the improvement of the people's standard of living, regarding as the lifeline the important tasks set forth by the respected Comrade General Secretary during his field guidance at the factory.
