Pyongyang, December 1 (KCNA) -- A meeting took place at the Mangyongdae Schoolchildren's Palace on Nov. 30 to mark the 10th anniversary of the field guidance of the respected fatherly Marshal Kim Jong Un at the palace.

Present at the meeting were Kim Jong Sun, department director of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, Mun Chol, chairman of the Central Committee of the Socialist Patriotic Youth League, officials concerned and officials, teaching staff and group members of the palace.

Kim Song Hyon, curator of the Mangyongdae Schoolchildren's Palace, made a report.

The reporter referred to the fact that the Mangyongdae Schoolchildren's Palace was remodeled into a monumental edifice under the warm care of the respected fatherly Marshal Kim Jong Un, who clarified in detail the orientation for modernizing the palace and the issues of forming a powerful design group and construction forces.

The respected fatherly Marshal visited the remodeled palace on November 30, 2015 and stressed the need for the palace to direct efforts to intensifying education in the leadership exploits of President Kim Il Sung and Chairman Kim Jong Il, steadily improve the contents and methods of education and train many gifted students and prodigies who will shoulder the future of the country through positive group activities. And he sent lots of educational equipment and cultural apparatuses to the palace.

The palace has successfully fulfilled its mission and role as a seat of preparing the rising generation to be reliable pillars and reserves of the country for a decade.

The reporter called upon all the officials and teaching staff of the palace to glorify the immortal leadership exploits of the Party, bring about a fresh turn in the extracurricular education and the training of talents and thus fulfill their mission and duty in greeting the Ninth Congress of the Workers' Party of Korea as the one of victors and glory. -0-
