Pyongyang, March 6 (KCNA) -- Organizations of the Union of Agricultural Workers of Korea (UAWK) at all levels are conducting a mass movement for repairing and maintaining tractors.

Officials of the UAWK committees in Pyongyang Municipality and North and South Phyongan, Kangwon and North Hamgyong provinces have conducted organizational and political work so that the primary committees of the union in the municipality and provinces have a large share in repairing and maintaining tractors.

All primary committees of the union provided more than 2 000 accessories of 50-odd kinds, 2 500 repair tools of 20-odd kinds and many daily necessities to tractor drivers, technicians and skilled workers, thus contributing to the repair and maintenance of farm machines.

Many organizations of the union such as the union committees in Anak and Paechon counties of South Hwanghae Province and Sangwon and Sungho counties of North Hwanghae Province and the primary committee of the union of the Sariwon Fruit Farm conducted the mass movement to suit their specific conditions, contributing to the preparations for farming. -0-
