New Houses Built in Kaesong of DPRK

Pyongyang, December 9 (KCNA) -- New houses have been built at the Tongnae Farm in Phanmun District, Kaesong Municipality of the DPRK.

The houses, designed in diverse and unique forms to preserve the regional features peculiar to the countryside and ensure modernity and architectural beauty, are the cradles of happiness brought about by the noble devotion of the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un for the people's wellbeing, who is working heart and soul to turn the countryside into the socialist ideal villages where the people are full of laughter.

A ceremony for moving into new houses took place on the spot on December 8.

Present there were Kim Yong Gyu, chief secretary of the Kaesong Municipal Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, officials of the Party and power organs in Phanmun District, builders and agricultural workers.

After the congratulatory address made by Kim Song Gun, vice-chairman of the Kaesong Municipal People's Committee, licenses for using the houses were conveyed and speeches made.

Agricultural workers began moving into the new houses amid cheerful dances and their happy laughter was heard at every house, reflecting their conviction that a better and more prosperous future would come thanks to the policy of the Workers' Party. -0-
