Pyongyang, June 30 (KCNA) -- The February 8 Vinalon Complex in the DPRK puts spurs to the readjustment and reinforcement project by dint of science and technology while directing efforts to the production of basic chemical products.

The complex worked out a stepwise plan on technical development and reinforcement for this year and has pushed ahead with the project for installing carbide electric furnace with a capacity of several hundred tons, building a salt production line by industrial method and overhauling filters of water filtration process.

A campaign was launched to establish a briquette production line and the work is going on to manufacture a rotary drum dryer and other equipment in close cooperation with technicians and workers of relevant units.

Officials, workers and technicians of the complex are consolidating the existing production base by introducing new technical innovation proposals. -0-
