Pyongyang, November 1 (KCNA) -- Efforts are being made to develop the regions and improve the people's living standard in different parts of the DPRK.

South Hamgyong Province is pushing ahead with the construction of dwelling houses in Tanchon Port, provincial sports village, provincial football school, Hamhung Choe Hui Suk Teacher Training College and other major projects planned this year.

North Hwanghae Province is stepping up the construction of schoolchildren's palace at the final stage.

The palace, which is now under construction in Sariwon City, will be furnished with four-storied main building with hobby rooms, theatre and multi-functional gymnasium.

North Phyongan Province organized a demonstration lecture on breeding goats in winter and Nampho Municipality held a show as a part of the work to produce more quality consumer goods. -0-
