Pyongyang, December 5 (KCNA) -- North Hamgyong Province of the DPRK newly built the Chongjin Water Park.

The public service centre with unique architectural and modern beauty in the center of Chongjin City is furnished with a douche place, a seawater pool, a sports ground and a soft drink shop, so that the people, youth and students can enjoy themselves in the water and conduct diverse sports activities all the year round.

The inaugural ceremony of the Chongjin Water Park took place on the spot on Dec. 4.

Present there were Kim Yong Hwan, chief secretary of the North Hamgyong Provincial Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, officials of the Party and power organs in the province and Chongjin City, working people and employees of the water park.

Pak Myong Ho, chairman of the North Hamgyong Provincial People's Committee, made an inaugural address.

At the end of the ceremony the participants looked round various places of the water park. -0-
