Pyongyang, January 27 (KCNA) -- A meeting was held in the DPRK on January 26 to review the 2025 socialist emulation in the fruit farming sector.

Present there were Ri Chol Man, vice-premier of the Cabinet and chairman of the Agricultural Commission, Kim Jong Sun, department director of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, officials of the Agricultural Commission, the Union of Agricultural Workers of Korea and units participating in the emulation and exemplary agricultural workers.

Han Jong Hyok, chairman of the UAWK Central Committee, made a reviewing report.

The report analyzed and reviewed a series of shortcomings and lessons revealed in the socialist emulation and stressed the issues for all fruit production units to further consolidate their own agrochemicals production bases this year and invent and manufacture many farm machines and farm implements to increase the proportion of fruit farming done by machines.

The meeting heard speeches on the experience gained in fruit production true to the Party's policy on fruit farming.

Then the rankings were announced.

Citations and rotating pennants in the joint name of the WPK Central Committee and the Cabinet of the DPRK were conferred on Pukchong County, the Onchon Fruit Farm and the Toksong Apple Farm. -0-
