Pyongyang, June 30 (KCNA) -- Nampho Municipality in the DPRK is directing efforts to improving the quality of products while pushing ahead with the modernization of processes at building-materials production bases.

The municipality established a new line for producing paving blocks at the municipal building-materials production station, thus laying another foundation conducive to regional construction.

The municipal building-materials production station has put efforts into further perfecting the production foundation and raising the technical knowledge and skills of its employees, thereby producing color tiles, artificial stone boards and wooden products in a qualitative way.

The municipal distemper production station invented and applied more than 10 valuable innovation proposals, including technologies for producing peculiar distemper paint and heat insulating materials, thus increasing the output of building materials both in quality and quantity.

The Kangso Cement Factory and the Kangson Metal Rolling Mill have secured accessories necessary for repairing equipment according to well though-out plans and ensured full-capacity operation of equipment by relying on their own technical force, thus making innovations in the production of goods.

The Kangson Vinyl Sheet Factory is concentrating efforts on the management of equipment and technical control to boost the production of decoration wallboard and polyvinyl chloride resin linoleum. -0-
