Pyongyang, August 30 (KCNA) -- A session of the Permanent Commission of the Standing Committee of the Supreme People's Assembly of the DPRK was held.

The session deliberated the issues of adopting the DPRK laws on account settlement and income distribution in the farms and on protection of consumers and adopted relevant decrees.

The law on account settlement and income distribution in the farms is aimed at consolidating the material and technical foundations of farms and raising the zeal of farmers for production by properly assessing work-points and carrying on the account settlement and income distribution. The law on protection of consumers is aimed at establishing the system and order in the supply of goods and service and thus contributing to protecting the legitimate rights and interests of consumers and improving the people's living standard. -0-
