Pyongyang, August 22 (KCNA) -- A grass-cutting campaign is being stepped up at the final stage at the farms of South Hwanghae Province of the DPRK.

Officials and agricultural workers in Sinchon and Unchon counties have carried out the mowing plans by effectively mobilizing forces and means while overcoming the influence of disastrous abnormal weather and putting the manuring and cultivation of crops in the latter half of their growth period on a scientific and technological basis.

Farms in Paechon and Unryul counties piled cut-grass at the places favorable for transport and compost production.

Similar successes are witnessed at Jaeryong, Yonan, Jangyon and Anak counties. -0-
