Pyongyang, August 2 (KCNA) -- The Chollima Tile Factory, a leading building-materials production base in the DPRK, is steadily increasing the production.

The factory carried out its first half-yearly national economic plan at 139 percent through technical innovation activities for home production of raw and other materials and equipment and improvement of the quality of building materials.

It is making a great contribution to the economic development of the country while steadily increasing the production potentials and boosting the production of building materials.

The factory is now demonstrating its reputation as a model factory for self-reliance and a patriotic factory while putting production on a normal footing. This is a fruition of the wise leadership of the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un who led the factory to make a new history by making a leap forward in the spirit of a new Chollima.

One day of August in 2014, Kim Jong Un visited the factory and named it the "Chollima Tile Factory".

That day, he looked round various places of the factory and set forth the tasks facing it, saying that it has an important duty and role in ushering in a new golden age in construction and building world-level fine structures.

True to his noble intention, the workers of the factory have made a dynamic technological innovation for the home production of raw materials, modernization of processes and improvement of the quality of products, thus registering high production results every year.

The tile production processes of various kinds were awarded the management system certificate as the factory directed efforts to improving the quality of building materials and diversifying them.

The factory was selected as one of the top ten businesses in 2023 and one of the top ten IT units in 2024. -0-
