Pyongyang, January 31 (KCNA) -- Officials and workers of smelteries and mines in the mining industry of the DPRK have fulfilled their national economic plans for January ahead of schedule.

Those at the Munphyong Smeltery carried out their monthly plan in all indices, operating the newly-established iron oxide production line as required by technical regulations.

Workers of the Unpha Mine have registered high production results every day by raising the operation rate of transport equipment while applying efficient blasting method.

The Hyesan Youth Mine finished its monthly mineral production plan ahead of schedule.
