Pyongyang, February 27 (KCNA) -- A national contest of women's union artistic motivation teams took place at the worksites for increased production to implement the decisions of the Eleventh Plenary Meeting of the Eighth Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea.

The contest, conducted in the form of staging economic agitation activities at worksites in the eastern and western parts of the country, was attended by artistic motivation teams of the women's union which won a high appreciation at each provincial contest.

Its participants showed numbers of artistic performance with high ideological value and artistry and strong appeal to encourage the working people, out in the struggle to successfully complete the five-year plan for national economic development, to create new innovations.

The artistic motivation team members from North and South Hamgyong, Ryanggang and Kangwon provinces and Rason Municipality gave their performance at the Hungnam Fertilizer Complex to make its worksites seethe with high enthusiasm for increased production.

Those from Pyongyang, Nampho and Kaesong municipalities, North and South Phyongan, North and South Hwanghae and Jagang provinces gave their performance at the Sangwon Cement Complex, redoubling the morale of the producers. -0-
