Pyongyang, November 7 (KCNA) -- Officials and working people in North Hwanghae Province of the DPRK have remodeled the provincial committee of science and technology and the Sariwon Equipment Assembly Station.

The provincial committee of science and technology, located at the foot of the picturesque Mt Kyongam, has a room for examining scientific and technological achievements, e-library and meeting room so that it plays its role as the staff of science and technology in developing the regional economy and improving the people's living standard.

The Sariwon Equipment Assembly Station has production buildings with 60-odd equipment, including laser cutting machine, and a welfare establishment for its employees, thus laying another material and technical foundation for pushing ahead with the construction of regional-industry factories.

Pak Chang Ho, chief secretary of the North Hwanghae Provincial Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, and officials in the province went round the remodeled provincial committee of science and technology and Sariwon Equipment Assembly Station on November 5. -0-
