Pyongyang, November 12 (KCNA) -- The Pukchang Thermal Power Complex in the DPRK is pushing ahead with the readjustment and reinforcement while putting spurs to the production.
The complex carried out its daily, monthly and quarterly assignments for overhauls planned for this year, and is launching the last project for overhauling generator No. 16.
The technical problems for raising the efficiency of turbines were solved amid the work to increase the generating power per generator, and more waste-gas oxygen analyzers were installed at boilers so as to provide a guarantee for conducting their optimal operation by air volume control at a high level.
The complex is making sure that all the production, operation and supply units intensify the inspection of equipment and manage and operate the generating equipment as required by technical regulations and standard operating method. And it is ensuring the smooth production of electric power by shortening the time of unloading coal.
The complex is solving the problems in the winter electric power production according to a well thought-out plan, and taking measures to provide spare parts for the major generating equipment. -0-
