Pyongyang, December 9 (KCNA) -- The Academy of Pedagogical Science is pushing ahead with the researches to provide a pedagogical guarantee for the implementation of the policies of the Workers' Party of Korea for the educational field.

It has drawn up a new educational programme for the disabled and made the researches to give the education of an advanced level to the students on the basis of the second universal 12-year compulsory education programme.

It is solving the problems arising in improving the structure of postgraduate education and raising the quality of teaching in the field of higher education.

It also wrote anew a compendium of educational law as part of the work to open up a new field of educational science and is further perfecting the teaching work administration system by the full credit system enforced by the universities and colleges in the field of teacher training.

It is also conducting researches to reduce the difference between urban and rural education including providing conditions for schools in rural and mountainous areas to use videos for education.

It is intensifying the research into scientifically installing sports apparatuses in conformity with the constitutional conditions of students in the secondary general education sector. -0-
