Pyongyang, June 29 (KCNA) -- Officials and workers in the machine-building industry of the DPRK are putting spurs to the production of custom-built equipment and materials.

Officials of the Ministry of Machine-building Industry and the relevant field have intensified the organic ties and cooperation between workshops and production lines, while conducting the operation and guidance over the work to carry out the plans on different indices.

Officials and workers at the Ryongsong Machine Complex made successes in the production of compressors for chemical and coal industries.

The Taean Heavy Machine Complex finished the production of high-efficiency high-voltage motors ahead of schedule and completed the production of equipment necessary for putting production lines on a Juche basis in the metal industry.

Similar successes were witnessed at the Ranam Coal Mining Machine Factory, the Songchongang Electric Appliances Factory and other units. -0-
