Useful Animals Well Protected in DPRK

Pyongyang, March 30 (KCNA) -- The General Bureau of Forest under the Ministry of Land and Environment Protection is engaged in building reserves and breeding bases for useful animals and preserving the ecological environment of selected temporary reserves in every province.

It has taken a planned measure to provide conditions for the inhabitation of useful animals.

Efforts are directed to ensuring the living conditions of wild pheasants across the country.

While efforts are directed to protecting and propagating animals in nature reserves, the work to investigate ecological pathways between reserves is underway.

The experience gained by various units in the good care of animal sanctuaries is being generalized amid the nationwide drive for protecting and propagating useful animals.

The General Bureau has encouraged the caretakers of reserves and forest rangers to bring the inhabitants of relevant areas to the knowledge of significance and importance of the work of protecting useful animals and turn out in the work. -0-
