Pyongyang, August 1 (KCNA) -- Rodong Sinmun Friday in an editorial says that in order to thoroughly carry out the plan and determination of the Workers' Party of Korea for successfully implementing the five-year plan, everyone should fully display the steadfast pioneering spirit and make strenuous efforts.

It is the temperament and tradition peculiar to the DPRK people to translate the Party's plan and determination into brilliant reality, the editorial says, and goes on:

Whenever our Party unfolds a grand blueprint for socialist construction, our people have presented labour gifts of loyalty to the motherly Party by waging a vigorous struggle to achieve miraculous successes with the pure and flawless loyalty and patriotism

It is an essential requirement for defending the prestige of the Party Central Committee in every way that all the people are courageously struggling with the steadfast pioneering spirit.

The steadfast pioneering spirit and strenuous efforts of our people are the spirit of loyalty to absolutely defend the prestige of the Party Central Committee with proud labor achievements and remarkable results, and the fighting spirit and mettle of uninterrupted advance and innovation.

It is an important requirement for turning socialist construction into a new stage of development that all the people are courageously struggling with the steadfast pioneering spirit.

Only when we accelerate the all-people general advance, can we successfully conclude the first-stage pioneering and revolutionary struggle for the overall development of socialist construction and confidently advance toward the next stage of victory.
